"Ancient Souls" by Judi Wild
This is the
second in a series of 7.
"I used antique black & white photos dating back as far as 1901 for part of my reference material". This is a mortuary pole which can still be seen on the Queen Charlotte Islands in the historical Haida village of Ninstints. It has fallen over and is covered with moss. You can see the photos from 1901, 1947 & 1997.
